HET WORDT EEN (BAS) WHITE CHRISTMAS!
Bas White is niet alleen een geweldige club-DJ met een grote schare fans en volgers, hij is ook de musical curator en programmeur van A’dam Toren. En zoals je waarschijnlijk weet, ging het dit jaar helemaal los, daar hoog boven het IJ. Nu is het december en we vragen ons af: komt Bas een beetje tot rust met Kerst en de jaarwisseling?
‘Ik ben natuurlijk wel bij de familie en bij mijn gezin met de Kerstdagen. Maar ik kan het niet laten om tussendoor ook nog te gaan kijken in de Toren. Daar treden rond die periode meer artiesten uit de stal van Erwin op en daar wil ik wel even bij zijn.’
Domme vraag.
Alvast terugkijkend op 2016 was het een magisch jaar voor Bas. ‘Eendachtig de schommel op het dak van de A’dam Toren was het echt een rollercoaster voor me. Vorige week dinsdag was het hele gebouw in full swing. Op elke plek gebeurde er wel wat. En dan zindert het daar van de positieve energie. Geweldig!’
Of hij tot slot nog goede voornemens heeft voor 2017 zegt hij: ‘Ik ben niet zo’n man van de goede voornemens. Maar wat ik echt leuk vind, is dat mijn zoontje een mooie piano heeft gekregen en mijn dochter een fraaie gitaar. Ze gaan op les en dat wil ik heel graag monitoren, het komend jaar.’
